***If you are a homophobe or you just don't like the idea of two guys together then I suggest you just leave this blog because I will be posting books about two guys in some type of relationships***

Wanting

By: Piper Vaughn

This book is actually slash. For people who don't know what it means, it means it is about two guys getting it on. Not necessarily getting it on but two guys falling in love or having sex or whatever. Two guys instead of a
girl and a guy.
Makes you wonder what they're doing
with their shirts off, don't ya think?

Anyways, did you really have to lie, Jonah! God, all you had to do was lie on his bed naked and he wouldn't have been able to hold back. But then again Laurie is your brother's best friend. How could you not think about how that would affect their friendship?! I mean, sure, you've been in love with Laurie since you were thirteen, but your brother and him have been friends for years! How do you think he's going to react when he finds out that you lied to him so he would have sex with you? Not good, I suppose.

What I am confused about is why would Laurie actually agree to that? Well, yeah, if your crush asked you to have sex with them, of course you're probably going to say yes. But, just because you friend's brother said their ex boyfriend broke up with them just because they wouldn't put out, normal people would say you don't have to lose your virginity to please future lovers or something like that.

Amazing book, really. Read it!

Reviews

          Chasing Beautiful

By: Pamela Ann

If you're like me and judge a book by its' cover before actually getting it, I really liked this cover. Obviously you can tell it will have some sexual stuff in it. And it sure does! This is one of the best books I have ever
Do you see this cover? Pretty interesting, huh?
read, and I have read a lot! I am telling you this has the right amount of romance and drama that they balance each other out. Sienna should choose Blake! Don't go back to your ex boyfriend! Blake actually loves you and he is soooo much better in bed than your ex. She should've kept that in mind. This actually takes place in London when Sienna decides to go to school there. And her best friend Blake Knightly has been in love with her for who knows how long.
But if you're like me and you like steamy sex scenes as well, this book has it for all you perverts. Why did I say that? I basically called myself a pervert. Anyways, I highly recommend this read for you guys.

Recommendation #4

So, the next one is a romance book and is for adults so it does have some sexual scenes in it. Just warning you beforehand. It's called Forbidden Surrender by Priscilla West. The author had actually wrote this
story on a fiction website, FictionPress.com, before she had actually published it as a book. There are three books in this series. The main character goes on a business meeting with her boss and meets Vincent Sorenson. The sexy billionaire. Kristen knows that she shouldn't mix business with pleasure but Vincent doesn't particularly care. She knows that if she caves under his charm she was going to get hurt; problem is, it's just so hard to resist when you have a charming and sexy billionaire pining after you.
I will most likely be posting another one of this author. This is a really good story to read!

Motal Instruments

Recommendation #3

The next book I am recommending is fantasy with some romance, and it's actually a series. It's called The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. This is one of my favorite book series. There are six books in this series. Clary Fairchild has been hidden from her own world since she was a kid. But when she and her friend, Simon, go to this club, Clary witnesses three other teenagers actually murder someone. Everything she knew is tested when Jace Lightwood, one of the murderers, introduces her to the Shadowhunter world, where she should be. Her mother is kidnapped by a notorious murderer, so Clary works hard to figure out who took her and where she is. During the whole thing Clary is learning about her true heritage, but she's also feeling something for Jace. Will it turn out good or bad for Clary and Jace, and will she ever find her mother?

Okay, so the entire series isn't about all of that, just the mother part and some of Jace. This is actually the first book and I probably won't do a summary for the rest of them so I don't give anything away in the books.
The next book I am going to recommend is The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. This a mystery book. It is about this girl who can read people, basically who you are and what you want. One day the FBI come and tell her about this program for people like her. In this program she would learn how to use her ability more efficiently and crack cold cases. Maybe this program will help her finally find out what happened to her mother.
In the program Cassie meets other teens, none of them are who they seem to be. When a dark murder looms ahead Cassie is the main target. The question is: Why? In this book all of them are going to have to use all of their gifts to survive.

Recommendations

So, the first book I am going to recommend is All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill. The genre is science fiction because there is time travel in it. Basically, this girl, Em, and her friend are trapped in a military base. She has nothing except a list of instructions from the drain. The list has a lot of things crossed out and all of it is in her handwriting. The problem is she doesn't ever remember writing this down.
She was imprisoned by her former friend. A sweet boy turned into a sadistic man overcome with grief and power. They don't ever call him by his name, just the doctor.
Em and her friend are in a race against time to complete the task on the list.

Genres

Fantasy

Fantasy can involve many different things. It can have trolls, vampires, magic, elves, and so many other things about it. Personally, fantasy is one of my favorite genres because you get to read about something that could probably never happen in real life. You can live your own impossibilities through reading fantasy. Albeit, you're not in control of what happens, you still get those moments where you had done or seen something impossible.
A lot of people may not like fantasy because half of what happens in it will probably never come true but it helps you take a break from reality. It's like you're having a horrible and you are just not liking anything about the world at the moment, reading fantasy lets you take a breather from everything that's real into everything that could never happen. That is my opinion of the genre fantasy.

Science Fiction

I haven't really read very many science fiction books. There's a lot of things that could happen but they are all mainly scientific ways of discovering things. Kind of like Doctor Who. You know, with the Tardis. Some of may not know, so I'll clarify. Tardis is a time machine that looks like a phone booth to obscure what it really is. The Doctor and his friend go back in time and do some things, I'm not really sure what. I have only watched 2 episodes so if you do know what I'm talking about I am sorry if I made any mistakes about it.
It could be about time travel, an alternate universe, or an impossible discovery. Basically something impossible that was discovered with science or scientific tools. It is kind of like fantasy in a way. Something that is impossible, except science fiction leans more towards reality.
Personally, I don't like very many books of this genre. I am really picky when it comes to picking one out. But I will post some reviews and recommendations about the few that I have read. So, no worries!

Romance

A lot of the books I read have some romance. There are so many different types of romance novels or books. Some of them are just about people steadily falling in love (In my opinion, those kind just take too
long to actual romance so they are hard for me to read.), some could just be about erotica and sex, or some of them could have BDSM roles and sex-slaves. Either way, there is a lot of diversity in this category. Romance plays a part in almost every book there is, whether it is the main genre or it just mentions it.
If your love life is lacking or you just want a steamy read, romance or erotica is what you read. You can picture and imagine that it is actually you in the story, and you're falling in love with the guy/girl. Or you could just imagine yourself having intercourse with the characters.
I read a lot of romance books, so a majority of these books will be or will have romance in it. But if you don't like romance books, there will be some on here that doesn't have romance in it.
Keep in mind this is the category I was talking about being not age appropriate for readers under the age of 17.

Mystery

I read quite a bit of mystery, it's usually something I look for in a book. Most of the time, when a book has mystery or is a mystery it has a lot of suspense and for me  suspense is usually what keeps me reading. It can be about murder, a puzzle, clues and a whole lot of other things. Just like romance, mystery is in every single book that actually has a plot. I guarantee that if you pick up a random book and start reading it, there will be some kind of problem that they will have to figure out.
A lot of the books I post on here will have mystery in it. I have already posted three that have mystery in it.
Expect more to come!

What It's All About

This is my first blog so please excuse mistakes I make about this.
So this blog is everything about books in general. I will be posting things about different genres, reviews about books that I have read, and recommending books. There will be some parts about movies, but just movies based off of books.
I will post some things about fanfiction on here as well. Basically some good fanfiction websites, some authors, and some stories. If you like fanfiction, expect me to post something on here about it.
I will gladly take suggestions about what you would like me to post. You can reach me at collins.shyla@gmail.com if you would like to suggest something or you can just comment about it.
Please keep in mind that if you are 17 years old or younger, not all of the books I will be posting about are in your age category. Some of them will be age appropriate and some will not. I will probably be posting them in separate sections. Thank you for reading!
