Fantasy
Fantasy can involve many different things. It can have trolls, vampires, magic, elves, and so many other things about it. Personally, fantasy is one of my favorite genres because you get to read about something that could probably never happen in real life. You can live your own impossibilities through reading fantasy. Albeit, you're not in control of what happens, you still get those moments where you had done or seen something impossible.
A lot of people may not like fantasy because half of what happens in it will probably never come true but it helps you take a break from reality. It's like you're having a horrible and you are just not liking anything about the world at the moment, reading fantasy lets you take a breather from everything that's real into everything that could never happen. That is my opinion of the genre fantasy.
Science Fiction
I haven't really read very many science fiction books. There's a lot of things that could happen but they are all mainly scientific ways of discovering things. Kind of like Doctor Who. You know, with the Tardis. Some of may not know, so I'll clarify. Tardis is a time machine that looks like a phone booth to obscure what it really is. The Doctor and his friend go back in time and do some things, I'm not really sure what. I have only watched 2 episodes so if you do know what I'm talking about I am sorry if I made any mistakes about it.
It could be about time travel, an alternate universe, or an impossible discovery. Basically something impossible that was discovered with science or scientific tools. It is kind of like fantasy in a way. Something that is impossible, except science fiction leans more towards reality.
Romance
A lot of the books I read have some romance. There are so many different types of romance novels or books. Some of them are just about people steadily falling in love (In my opinion, those kind just take too
long to actual romance so they are hard for me to read.), some could just be about erotica and sex, or some of them could have BDSM roles and sex-slaves. Either way, there is a lot of diversity in this category. Romance plays a part in almost every book there is, whether it is the main genre or it just mentions it.
If your love life is lacking or you just want a steamy read, romance or erotica is what you read. You can picture and imagine that it is actually you in the story, and you're falling in love with the guy/girl. Or you could just imagine yourself having intercourse with the characters.I read a lot of romance books, so a majority of these books will be or will have romance in it. But if you don't like romance books, there will be some on here that doesn't have romance in it.
Keep in mind this is the category I was talking about being not age appropriate for readers under the age of 17.
Mystery
I read quite a bit of mystery, it's usually something I look for in a book. Most of the time, when a book has mystery or is a mystery it has a lot of suspense and for me suspense is usually what keeps me reading. It can be about murder, a puzzle, clues and a whole lot of other things. Just like romance, mystery is in every single book that actually has a plot. I guarantee that if you pick up a random book and start reading it, there will be some kind of problem that they will have to figure out.

A lot of the books I post on here will have mystery in it. I have already posted three that have mystery in it.Expect more to come!
